Nepal lies along the central Himalaya, home to communities with long histories of life at high altitude. We are honored to work alongside these communities to understand how environmental pressures shape human biology. Our research focuses on physiological and molecular responses to hypoxia, including studies centered on women in Nepal, offering insight into how adaptation unfolds across diverse populations living in extreme environments.
